What aspects of village life do you find most enriching or meaningful?
Life in Methoni is different from the noisy city life. We enjoy the daily tranquility with time passing very slowly. The quality that the village can offer you is unique!
Do you have recommendations for visitors to truly experience the authentic charm of our village?
Visitors to Methoni have many things to do, they can walk through its alleys, enjoy its wonderful crystal-clear seas, and visit the castle that, with its great history, has stood proud for so many years.
Can you share a special memory or story that reflects the unique character of our community?
The memories are many in this beautiful village. The dives on the sandy beach ideal for children are wonderful as well as the beautiful sunset which gives a wonderful color to the castle. The summer festival of Methoni with immense love and hospitality welcomes the whole world, local and not, where everyone becomes one huge company.
If you could turn back time, would you do anything differently in your life?
I would not change my permanent residence in Methoni because I live with my family wonderfully with quality of life, clean air and in nature. Just as I grew up, I want my children to live a calm and carefree childhood!
