Join the Exciting Film Educational Program in Methoni!

From June 22 to 28, Methoni's Cultural Center will host an exciting film educational program, organized by the Captain Vassilis & Carmen Constantakopoulos Foundation in collaboration with the Audiovisual Media Laboratory of the Department of Communication and Media of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The program is expertly curated and edited by renowned director and professor Eva Stefani.

This unique program is designed for children aged 10 to 14, offering a fantastic opportunity to dive into the world of cinema. Participants will explore the main pillars of filmmaking, including direction, camera operation, and sound engineering. Through hands-on workshops in scriptwriting, shooting, and editing, young filmmakers will have the chance to create their own short films, guided by industry professionals and educators.

Interactive Workshops: 

Children will engage in experiential learning, covering key aspects of filmmaking from concept to completion.

Expert Guidance: 

Led by Eva Stefani and a team of professionals, participants will receive top-notch instruction and mentorship.

Creative Exploration: 

Each child will have the opportunity to develop their own creative vision and see it come to life on screen.

In addition to the educational program for children, there will be parallel activities and movie screenings for the public. These events are organized in collaboration with the New Cinema Club of Kalamata, providing a rich cultural experience for all attendees.
